Electrical Symbols in Legend

I find that certain electrical fixture symbols are not showing up when I print a PDF of the sheet. The symbols are placed in a legend which is placed on a sheet. Anyone else had this problem? I'm in 8.1.

I just had the same problem today. Generated an electrical legend, annotated it, and added it to the electrical plan sheet. All looked fine, but when I printed it, most of the electrical symbols didn't show up.

I opened the one of the symbols in the family editor, then opened the annotation symbol that was nested in it (most of our electrical symbols were downloaded from the web and have annotation symbols nested), checked visibility, exited, and printed the electrical plan again and all was fine. I have no clue why it did'nt print right the first time.

Have noticed similar thing with plumbing symbol..... it'd be nice to know why!

I tried reloading families after checking visibility etc, no good. I decided to load the annotations directly into my project/legend. That worked. I guess until this is fixed, this works. Not a problem if you know it's coming.
