Organization and Families

Just a general question about how people organize there families. We will have different clients with different needs and families. I thought after I create a very specific item for a specific client I would print it on 8 1/2" X 11" sheet (put it in a binder) and organize it like a block item in AutoCAD. In a client folder. Any other suggestions or comments?

Well I organize my family library by the CSI 16 divisions. I have discussed this on here before and have found that not many other people agree with this logic but I prefer it.

It has also been pointed out that CSI has changed the format to use 48 divisions rather than the 16 but until everyone else in the industry (sweets catalog, manufacturer's literature, specifiers) changes I am not going to worry about it.
