Missing Section Lines

Somehow my section lines are not showing up in the plans. I have them checked in Visibility Graphics, but still no show. Is there some other view property I'm missing?

Could they have been manually hidden in the view ( "Hide Annotation " )

Go to the section and click on "find Referring views", go back to the plan and the section marker should be highlighted, right click "show annotation in view ".

The other possibility is that that have been temporarily hidden by the 'eyeglass' tool.

Could be the scale of the drawing. As of 6, Revit sections can be hidden by default in scales courser than X. 1/8 scale is the default I think.

Check that the section is not in a different phase to the view where you wish the section markers to show.

Both the plans and sections have Phase shown as "New Construction" and Phase Filter as "Show All"

I don't understand what you you mean. How do I address with that?

Right click on the section view in the project browser, and choose properties. There is a parameter called "Hide at sacle coarser than" and it lets you choose a scale. Make sure that this scale is set "coarser" than the plan you are trying to see the sections in.

So I had missing section lines, some were showing, othere were not. I had no idea what was going on, so I do a search and here is the answer.
