I have read a couple of post, but none of which resolve the issue, in relation to joining Architectural Columns with Walls.
Each time you join a column to wall it will adopt its 'material' however when set to existing the column will not show the proper fill (in my situation the need for solid black) as the wall does.
A method raised is to use Un-Join so that the column appears correctly on plan. Of course this then creates problems in 3D views that the line dividing the two is not visible.
The only other thought is to set the Visibility Graphics override for that view to coarse (for columns only) so that the columns show a solid fill.
Anyone know of a 'real' solution or better way?
