I am working on a foundation / footing detail that I started as a Drafting View. I would like to identify the bottom of footing elevation, and locate it with an elevation target. Revit will not allow me to insert an elevation target into the Drafting View. Any ideas of how I can accomplish this, short of creating one as a detailed component?

Cut a true section where the footing should be (even if it isn't built.)
Copy/Paste the detail into this new view. Set the detail work relative to the correct level/elevation. The spot should work now. The spots need to be able to "see" the project levels.

Turn off the model in view properties if desired.

Aarrons way is my first choice but if you don't want to do that you can always create a generic annotation of the level tag.

Thanks Aaron and Scott! You've given me some good ideas to work with on this.
Thanks again
