What is the best way to cut a sloping drive into a hill side? What I have done is cut multiple pads and then place a drive (actually a sloped floor) over the pad. Is there a better way?

How do you give the cut a non vertical slope. What I want to do is provide a battered retaining wall with tree wells every so often.

Sure would like a sloped pad option

You can use Split Surface to outline the drive on the topo, adjust it's elevation points and assign driveway material to the surface.

This thread could help for your retaining walls.http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=4115&highlight=sloping+curbs

Great tips for a workaround, only problem is when you have to do them over again.
If pads could slope, or a ramp would accept curved splines things would at least be better.

I accept that Revit is not supposed to solve these issues in the Autocad family, so why is Civil 3d (alternative) such a overkill for the next step.
