I am using an in-place void to cut an arched opening out of a roof. I want to use the edge of the void to define an extrusion for an arched soffit. When I try to pick along the void edge no snap points appear. Is it not possible to snap to these? I have attached the rvt file with the arched opening I am trying to add the soffit to.

I honestly thought this would be easier to do in-place, but I stand corrected. What I did is create a generic, roof-based family that is completely parametric...radius, radius elevation, soffit width, thickness, etc. Load it into the project and place it at Level 1. Adjust the parameters to customize. It will cut the roof, but not other soffits. You might just have to use 'join geometry' to clean up with other soffits.

It behaves slightly funny when placed because it's a roof-based element. I'll see if it can be tweaked. In the meantime, take a look...
