Railing Question - Diagonal Parts

i have been working on a railing design - adjusting the rail sturcture and baluster placement but i cannot seem to create a diagonal structural member.

any advice?

Are you trying to create this new memeber inside the actual railing properties or in a seperate ballister file?

I am editing an existing railing by inserting new railings through the "Edit Properties" command.

Ya, what you're going to want to do is create an entirely new balaster or railing. Then load it into the project. Then when you go to the railing's properties it will be there as an option. Hope this helps.
