Control position of Pull-down menus

I have successfully transfered my 04 menus into 06. I would like to change the position of 1 menu (left to right), moving it in the customization pane doesn't seem to work.
Any ideas? Also, when I use the zoom window command my screen looks like I was using the magnify wheel on binoculars. Is this my display driver or is everyone like this?
