Reflected Ceiling Plan - Visibility

I am trying to create a Reflected Ceiling Plan (RCP). I have followed the following steps:

1. created an RCP View
2. created a ceiling within this view

Now, when I place components into the RCP I get the following warning:

"None of the created elements are visible in Reflected Ceiling Plan: SECOND FLOOR View. You may want to check the active view, its Parameters, and Visibility settings, as well as any Plan Regions and their settings."

None of the components are visible in the RCP or any other plan for that matter. The components are however visible in my sections.

Advice? Help?

I would say check the work plane for that RCP view, make sure it's set to the floor level for that RCP. Also check visibility settings to make sure the components are turned on.
