Is there anyway Revit can print to a PLT file? This is a request from someone who has trouble printing PDF's.

Yes. When you select plot to a file box in the print popup, the default extension is prn. When Revit prompts you for a file name, select browse. The second line offers the "save file as" option. When you select the arrow beside the file type, plt is the second option.

You'll want to find out what printer you are printing to and install that printers drivers on your machine, then print to that printer and do as Skisouth idicated. Some printers have better drivers than others. I've had success with the windows drivers for the Oce 9600.

I hear there are some good older hp drivers too.
