I am trying to wrap a curtain wall around a corner.

I read earlier messages about how to remove the little piece of wall in the corner. I edited the wall profiles in elevation to remove it.

Now I would like to have the horizontal mullions miter at the corner. They don't seem to want to.

I also have sill wall sweeps that do not want to miter.

Can anyone help with this?

Thanks.

Mike

Pick the corner mullions and change them to the actual corner mullion, then it will delete one and leave a nice corner mullion in its place.

Scott,

Thanks for your reply.

I am trying to have no vertical mullion at the corner.

I would like to horizontal mullions to miter neatly, as well as the sill.

Neither the horizontal mullions nor the sill seem to want to miter.

then you need to make a curtain wall panel for your corners, just open a curtain wall panel and add a void in the shape of a triangle in plan, cut your panel, then save it as cwl-corner-mitered or something, then load it and replace your corner panels with this panel, delete your corner mullions ofcourse.

Another suggestion to clean corner conditions is to create a wall which is 1" thick and the same material as your panel. Swap out the corner panels for this wall. The corner will clean. Image / file attached. You'll need to use the linework tool to lessen the cut value of this wall to coincide with the cut value of the panels.

Hope this helps-

Hey Phil,
Nice tip! And, nicer avatar. Hmmm, maybe we need a new nick name for you too! Something cool though. Let me give that some thought.
You know, I have heard of the Red Rocker. Maybe you could be the "Revit Rocker"!

Great suggestion, I've got to stop thinking Revit 5.0.
