Editing text in a cell - Enter exits

Can not edit text in my table cell. When I hit the enter key the text editor closes and I can not edit my second line of text. What can I do?

Enter should work.

Shift+Tab
Up Arrow
Down Arrow
Left Arrow
Right Arrow

should work ie Allow you to move from one cell to another in a Table.
