I have a menu that was created in 04, Whats the best way to create the .CUI?
Should I use the .mns? .mnu?

This is driving me crazy, One minute I think I understand the new .CUI then I can't get anything to work.

Kinda of Helps mike, Problem is when I load the partial cui, Only half the icons show correctly, the rest are question marks, All the bmps are in the same folder as the msn/cui that is being loaded.

But is that path also in the support paths?

Yes it is. Do I need to add every sub-folder also?

Are the bmps located in the sub folders? You could always try it. If it doesn't work then you can remove those extra paths.

Figured it out, The .mns we were trying to use was corrupt. Got the original off the network and Bing.... Worked like a charm.

Thanks for all the help...

I'm glad to hear everything worked out.

Are you working on testing? Is that why you are not using a network location for your menu? Just curious.

There's only 4 of us at the moment, We're moving to a new 3rd party piping package and there are issues to wrap up. I want to have a enterprise.cui setup but we have always worked off of local folders that has the custom menus, lisps, ect in them and when it's updated everyone dl'ed the new folder off the network. Not the best system but it works for now.

Like I said, I was just curious. When you get the enterprise cui set up, I would recommend you go with the network location, at least for that one menu. That way you only have to update one file, and noone else has to download new information.

Just my 2ยข

I am having a similar issue with EXPRESSTOOLS icons. When AutoCAD starts, the icons in the expresstools toolbars are question marks, but appear in the pulldown menus. If I delete the mnr file, and unload and reload the express cui, I get the icons, until the next time I start up.

The folders are in the support path. Not sure why this is happening.

OK. I have saved to a unique workspace, and everything seems fine now.
