Using Drafting View

I would like to bring in a section view and be able to draw in 2d what I want. Am I able to do this? IF so I do I go about it? Also if I am able I would like to make this detail part of my library and not sure on how to that as well. Thanks for you help.

You cut your section, turn the model to underlay, then draft what you need, then turn the model off. You can't save it exactly as you wish, I just copy paste it into a drafting view within what I call detail projects(revit projects that just contain drafting views of typ. details, maybe 3d in the case of typ. bathrooms, stairs etc.)

then you can open these projects to cut and paste to your current projects.
