I have a stair at 16r @ 7-9/32" = 9'-8 1/2". My boss wants to get this to a more general number so that would be 16r @ +- 7-1/4" = 9'-8 1/2". I could get it to 15r @ 7-3/4" = 9'8 1/4", but our height is 9'-8 1/2". Either way it looks like I need to put +- on it. Can I somehow adjust the tolerance of the stairs to make this happen or just put the +- on the prefix line of the dimension?

Revit is accurate so there is no tolerance factor...

You can dimension it and add prefix to say ± by selecting the dimension going to its properties and typing in the prefix field.

Thanks, that what I thought I had to do.
