Attached is a clip illustrating a couple of things we include in our typical title block that I have incorporated into the Revit family. In ADT, the Progress and Approval blocks are xrefs that we can load and unload at will depending on SD, DD, CD phase or whatever.

What is the simplest way to accomplish this in Revit allowing users something similar to load and unload?

I am aware I can create multiple families to load but to display (for example) the Approval information without the Progress stamp or the inverse requires separate families. If I want various combinations, the number of combinations multiplied by the 5 typical titleblock sizes we use becomes excessive with that many more families to manage.

Thank you,
PBR

Visibility parameters. Looks like you'll only need two and can then turn them on/off with one check, using one titleblock family.

What am I missing with the visibility settings? How can I leverage the visibility to accomplish the intent? I was hoping for something simple.

I am not using an ADT block as an imported file so I cannot control the visibility as an imported category. I have created the Approval and Progress "blocks" as a group in the actual titleblock family; this group includes text. I cannot find anything that will allow me to control the visibility of specific instances of text that does not require either editing the family within the project (and by default, also the group) which I am not willing to have our users do. We want all title blocks identical and "reloadable" at all times from a single network location.

I can do this for the lines I guess, but that means I must create 5 object styles (one group has 3 lines of variable weight and one has 2). I cannot see how to do it for the text. Attached is the titleblock family I created. My goal is to display the Approval or the Progress group at will, with or without one or the other. Is there a secret stash of Revit methods to which I am not yet privy? Is this something really simple that I have just missed entirely? Please advise.

Thanks,
PBR

You can't apply visibility to a group - just objects. In this case there is no good reason to group the graphics.
