In place wall family/room bounding

I have drawn an office fit out plan with in place wall family to show irregular shaped existing walls.

It seems they are not room bounding though? Is there a way around this apart from the room separation line method?

I am not sure how the existing irregular walls look but you can try placing one wall type parallel to another and join them using the join geometry tool.

In place walls do not yet bound rooms. You need to use room separation lines to achive proper room shapes.
