Import Autocad drawing into Revit

I must be about 0 for 30 trys. The original Autocad drawings were passed to us by an architectural firm using ADT. I have bound all the xreferences - xploded the 3d items into 2d linework. I have tried using the manual insert center to center method within Revit. I get to see the import but when I go to left-click and accept the placement everything locks up and Revit no longer responds.

I get the same results if I work with a new instance as well.

Stooped - any help would be most welcomed.

This may appear silly - but I solved my own problem in minutes of this post. Autocad "purge" fixed everything. I suspect after the xref binding some residual info must of been plugging up the pipes. Works fine.

Hehehehe - see what a little patience can do? Apparently it was only 6 minutes before you found the answer!! Yeah, there is something that is a bit wacky in the pipes. I think we've all learned something good here!
