CraigThat looks amazing!

Not from a technical standpoint but an asthetic one, the glare of light off that back wall and one of the photos is a bit harsh? I don't know how you could get enough light on the darker objects without getting that effect? perhaps move the nearest light source further from the wall?

No problem. To save time if you go onto GOOGLE and under image search type: BUSINESS PEOPLE SHAKING
you will see the image on the 1st page on bottom left.

That looks nice!

Just may be minor problem: ceiling is a little bit dark.
I created one trick, which can solve this problem.
I sure exist better one, but I use this one for long time.

I think from picture is pretty clear how I got final slide.
Any questions are welcome.

Vlad

CraigThe people are probably the most eye-catching elements here. What can you tell us about them?

::::::COPY FROM WISH LIST::::::
There are not any possibilities in AutoCAD to adjust good light by easy way for render.
I think, AutoCAD has same, I would say primitive, conception as 3D Max.
I sure 99 % of Users don’t need highlight areas for presentations.
What we need - controls for:
1. Ambient light, with control of light reflection dependence from angle of surface to screen
2. Shade direction with option to correct softness of shade edge.(without light source)
3. Pseudo rough refraction / radiosity

And never spent time for an adjustment of point, spot or direct lights.
It will make life much easy.
Of course don’t remove existing light
::::::COPY FROM WISH LIST::::::

Other tricks:
Put 2 light together 50/50, one with raytrace, second without shading – it make shade grey, not black.
Don’t put light close to the wall.
Put 4 or 8 lights far away from object by 45 degrees both direction (see attached pictures)(not good for rooms)

That’s it.

To reach photorealistic easer next way:
Take a huge map add noise or 10-20% transparency map (like “refmap”)
This easy to get something like IPOD :-)

I hope this information will be usefull

I mean the AUGI wish list.
I’ve sent my recommendation, got conformation by email.
And I didn’t find my wish on the list.

Your wish needs to be approved by the wish list staff before you will see it on the wish list. I get them done as soon as possible, but sometimes it takes a few days for it to show up. Be patient. You will get an approval email when your wish is approved; or a note from myself if it is not. You can read all about the procedures here (http://www.augi.com/autocad/default.asp?page=847); particularly the How It Works (http://www.augi.com/autocad/default.asp?page=853)section.
