I am attempting to make a stacked wall that follow the notes from Tricks and Tips for Autodesk Revit at the AU by Chris Zoog. When doing this "trick" it seems that the brick component that I created will not offset up and down vertically in the Top and Base columns so that I cannot move the brick after offsetting it. See the attached image of my Edit Assembly dialog box. And I read in the help about some reference to enabling the Top or Base Extension but cannot seem to do this. Any help for this?

Thanks
David

Ok... I know you asked this years ago but I've just worked it out after going around in circles for a good half hour!

In the properties for the seperate walls that make up your stacked wall, go into the structure editing window, open up the section preview, click Modify, select the bottom vertical line/plane of the wall, and click the padlock to 'unlock' the base constraint...

Hoorah!
