Same item - different viewports

Does anyone know how to show the same xref item with different colors & linetypes in two different viewports on the same sheet (without xrefing the item in question twice)?

Nope. It cannot be done without xrefing twice.

Yeah - what he said. You have to xref it a second time, under a different name, then you can change the colors..........redundant, huh?

Go into the viewport, open the Layer Manager, change the "VP Color" and "VP Linetype" properties for the desired layers. Repeat for the other viewport(s). (Acad 2008)
