View Full Version : Topo boundary shape
Can't seem to make Revit's topo boundary do anything other than a triangle. If you have an l-shaped property and use the topo surface to generate a boundary (limmit of your project) it will conect the open corner points and not follow the shape you want. See image.

After your surface is complete, select "split surface">select topo. draw your I shaped lines>finish surface>select the part you want to delete>right click>delete.
Thanks. I knew it was gonna be easy!

The reason for this, is that Revit creates a TIN ( Triangulated Irregular Network ) to construct the topo surface. You can see this by turning on " Triangulation Edges " under Visibility Graphics.
Solution as posted above.
