Images not printing

I have an image that came across with an autocad drawing. Everything looks fine on the screen but fails to print the image. Print preview looks fine. The output however only has the autocad geometry and revit objects. I've tried different settings on the detail level with not change. I did print directly to the printer from autocad and the image printed fine.

Try printing raster or bring the image into revit directly/

It would not print with raster either. I did manage to print it bringing it in directly from a jpeg. However it would only print intermittantly. I noticed that the Raster Images manager showed several instances of the image. All but one with an occurance of zero. I think that the image with zero occurances is coming from autocad. ???

On a guess, I reloaded 8.0 on my machine and loaded the acad drawing with the jpg attached. It loaded just fine, the same as 8.1 but when printed it printed MUCH better. Not perfect mind you but a whole lot better. What happened to 8.1????
