I have 2 computer that will not let you open DWGs from in side of AutoCAD (File Open). I give you a "Access Rights Error". But if you go through Windows Explorer and double click on that same file it opens. These files are on a network and on different machines (We have a peer -to - peer network of about 20 computers, and projects are spread out across several computers, we have no central server. Each Project manger has their projects on their own perspective computer) Any thoughts? I have checked all of the settings I could think of but can't find anything.

Hi
Is it "Computer" related to "User" related ie
* No matter who logs onto the two "Computers" ( in question ), everyone experiences the same issue / problem.
OR
* Only certain "Users" experience the issue / problem.
Have a good one, Mike

Hi
Would it be unacceptable to create an image of one of the fully functional Computers, then deploy this image on the misbehaving Computers.
Have you tried a Repair Install on the AutoCAD installation? ( if the problem is caused by a bad Registry entry, a Repair Install might fix it ).
Have a good one, Mike

This could be related to this problem. (http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?p=162315#post162315)
Hopefully, this weekend I'll have all 3 computers networked again and the problem will go away.
