license files

I have an ADT 2005 Network up and running. I tried to replace the existing license file with one that I had just received from a reseller after purchasing an additional license. When I do an enquiry it says I only have 4 licenses issued I should of had 5 before the upgrade. Can't I just replace the license file, and in the LMTOOL reread the file?

It should, but you might try stopping the service (say for about 30sec or so) and restarting it. This will force the reread.

Also, have to checked the license file to make sure they have the 5 licenses in there? I have seen a couple of bad license files come through in my day.
