Strange jpeg Import

I am importing a jpeg to a titleblock family and getting strange results. Has anyone seen this? Any thoughts on why it is happening?

Attached are the image of what it looks like in the family and the original jpeg.

Jim,

I took your original jpg, and converted it to greyscale (attached), and it seems to work. The file size also dropped considerably.

Don't know what the problem is with the color version.

The problem with the original jpg is that its using " US Web Coated (SWOP) v2 " rather than CMYK colour.

Converting it in photoshop or somesuch, to CMYK, solves the problem, but strips the colour content at the same time.
