Circle and Polygonal Callouts

After being quite pleased that I have a work-around to get my plan details out of Floor Plans, I discovered another troubling fact.

When checking past posts, it appears as of a year past that polygonal and circular callouts are not possible. Is this still the case? I can get a circle with a work-around but the polygonal shape seems impossible.

I am 100% certain I will get this question from my users. Any suggestions?

You are correct that non-rectangular shape callouts are not available. You can only fake it.

both polys and circles are possible, but you have to draw filled regions to mask the part ouside the view, and if you want the callout to match, must manually draw the callout as well, loosing the associativity.
