AAAAAhhh!
I just had a meeting with a client who after designing his 5000 sq.ft. house who says " oh ya! I want to mirror the plan so the garage is on the other side!!"
S--T! I forgot to ask him at the first meeting!
Please Revit team. I know it's probably a huge amount of work to be able to mirror an entire building, but this is a huge request! I do mostly residential and this is very common. Especially with the contractors. 8)

I'll second that
I think everyone even the Revit Team would like to get this sorted
Any news on the development of this??
Cheers

Absolutely!!!!! I also deal with residential design, and not have any easy way of mirroring can cause major headaches. I know there are work arounds, but still cumbersome.

Maybe I should merge these posts into This Topic (www.zoogdesign.com/forums/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=2537&highlight=mirror) ?

I recently did some 3,600 square foot models and needed to mirror one version. I opened a roof plan view, switched to wireframe, made sure my view depth was unlimited, selected the entire model, held my breath and mirrored it. At least 95% of the model mirrored properly. There were some tweak adjustements (some sweeps shifted, Notes had to be cleaned up) but I was amazed that it worked. I have noticed that text gets wierd when mirrored. It is offset from it's location point in a way that is often unworkable. Seems like about half have to be redone. Definitely needs improvement but does work to an extent.
A bigger problem to me is I did a very complex remodel and after permit was issued, discovered a 20" bust in the initial field measurements affecting the center of the house. Just try adding 20" to the center of a complex 2-story model. I gave up after an hour and a half.
