Hello,
I recently joined a new company where I use AutoCAD 2000, prior to this I used Lt. I design electrical schematics. My problem is when I would like to modify the contents of a block I used to double-click the block to edit it, now I have to type ae? Is there a setting that I am missing?
Thank you

Hi
Please note I have *moved* this thread from the AutoCAD Customization (http://forums.augi.com/forumdisplay.php?f=118) forum to this one as I feel this particular Forum is a more appropriate place for such a topic.
Thanks, Mike

Hi
Take a look at the following thread...
Properties Tool bar Disabled? (http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=27997)
I am not sure if AutoCAD 2000 supported Double Click Editing ( I have a feeling that particular functionality arrived with AutoCAD 2000i ).
What command is run when you use "AE" ?
Have a good one, Mike

Ok! you are working with Attributes.
Like I said above, I don't think Double Click Editing is available in AutoCAD 2000 ( hopefully someone with AutoCAD 2000 can confirm this, one-way or the other ).
Have a good one, Mike

When I used 2000, I did not have the ability to double-click to edit text. I think this came in 2002.

I figured that it was in 2000i, but I never used it so I wasn't certain. ;) Thanks for the update, Mike.
