Roof?????

Hi Everybody

I have trouble doing this roof>If anyone can help me please or give me another idea of how to do this roof.

I think you will do this as a Extruded Roof.But not to sure about it.

That's pretty cool. You are correct, at least from my experience. I think I'd start with a vertical extrusion and do "blends" as I went up. I may give it a try in a little bit.

I would do it with two roofs, first a normal hip roof for the lower part then use cut off level to chop off the upper part. Create another roof for the upper part with a higher slope and extending both ends to offset outside the cut off level then cut the upper roof with a void to create the back slope.

Hope you get what i mean.

Do a roof by extrusion of the top part and you then pick on the roof and in the options bar you'll see a tool called cut plan profile and you can draw any shape you want to cut the ends to look like, in your case you would draw two triangle to create the pointed gable.
