I know nothing about diesel, but have a suspicion that it can do what I want, which is:
I use a field on my title blocks to define the status of the project. This works well when the project moves status, preliminary - tender - for construction.
This stops me from having to change it on all title blocks. However where it falls down is when a new drawing is introduced to the project during the tender period which will have a status which differs to the main status of the project.
What I hope a diesel expression will do is to look at a custom sheetset field, if this is blank it will show the project status, if not it will show the contents of the custom sheetset field.
Anyone with a clue about this please post a reply - even if it's telling me that it's impossible I can stop bashing my head against the wall
many thanks
