Most of the time when trying to draw a line, polyline...and pan during the process we get a fatal error (AutoCAD not responding) and shuts down. I have downloaded all service packs and installed them. Anyone else having this problem? Or does anyone know how to repair it? Win XP pro.

Win XP pro.I hadn't experienced that, could you post a screenshot of the actual error? (assuming it gives one of those long/cryptic letter/number error id... thingies...)

Sure I will be happy to as soon as it happens again. I have trained myself to avoid this but sometimes I forget, just give me a while.

We have had the exact same problem. While we're still in the process of solving it. It seems to be an AutoLisp program that we had working fine in 2004. This program is a "reactor" program. When you change from model space to paper space, it changes the litscale to .5. Once we removed it, the error seemed to stop. We ended up writing another simpler program to do the same thing.

Now this raises some questions. Check out the following post.
Glenn Pope's Layout_sw.lsp crashes Acad 2006 (http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=30157)
My routine uses reactors to watch for layout changes. Could this be some kind of bug with reactors and dynamic display?

Actually, the person in that thread who you were chatting with is one of my co-workers.
