How can I place a tag on a railing ?

No replies ?
Maybe "label" is not the right word.
I want to place a tag on a railing to show the family type on a plan view.
when I create the annotation family, there are no categories for the railings, and I can't add shared parameters.
Any ideas ?

You can schedule railings, but can not tag them.
One for the wishlist.
I'm not too sure if that is possible ,I would just use simple text to describe what I want to say for the railing or create an annotation for it when I have multiple instances where I need to use it. Maybe someone here has a better solution , but I hope this helps.

I wonder why some properties or parameters of Revit object cannot be tag? In my opinion objects properties should be flexible when it comes to labeling or tagging...
