The primary monitor I use is a Viewsonic VP211b with the resolution set at 1600 x 1200 pixels. My second monitor I'm trying to work with is a Wacom Cintiq 15X. with a maximum resolution
of 1024 x 768 pixels. The graphics card I am using is an ATI Radeon 7500, Series AGP, 64 MB.
Do they make graphics cards that support dual monitors with different resolution settings? Can you reccommend a good one?

AFAIK, just about all current dual-port graphic cards support different resolutions independently on each monitor. The control panel gives a choice between mirroring the output (same image on each screen) or having different images on each screen.
What gets a little iffy is if you want to mirror the output and the monitors are at different resolutions. What you'll probably end up with on the smaller monitor is only seeing 1024x768 of the 1600x1200 image, and you'll need to "scroll" around to see the rest of it.
There are dozens of dual-port graphics cards out there (most current video cards come with two) - just look at the specifications before buying one. As far as what brand, model, etc., check out the hardware forum on this topic. If you want some specific suggestions, you'll need to provide a bit more info about your computer (CPU? AGP or PCI-E?) and budget.

Yes, that's what I'm after. I want the same graphic output displayed at different resolutions. What I have now is as you have described. I have to scroll around on the wacom. I would rather not have to do that.

Hmmm... I don't know... it seems like it would be a driver issue. Maybe someone else here knows of one that can do what you want.

I use a Nvidia card with two different resolution monitors. Can be frustrating, but works good if you're running two different programs on each monitor. The lesser rez monitor simply "clips" the image you try to drag from the higher rez monitor. If you shrink the window, then expand on the smaller, then the window works properly. The mouse jumps fine between the monitors, but you have to pull the cursor down to about 2/3rds the height to get it to jump the top of the low rez monitor from the high rez.

Yeah, but what happens when you try to "clone" or "mirror" the display to both monitors at different resolutions? I think that's what Colquhoun wants, but without having to "scroll" around.
