Kinda weak discussion on BIM - one paragraph on Revit - of course the author is an ADT expert...

A bit of a shocker agreed.

That article noted below is of a similar ilk.
This article talks about one firm and their strategies for working with "BIM' .
There is some (relevant) information in the article.
The article is very heavily padded, repeating the same statements over and over in slightly different sentence structure but goes nowhere really.
Its quite boring when you read through the content and are hit with the same material for no useful purpose - it does not add to the interest nor informational aspects of the subject matter.
The article does note that the firm under question looks widely at procurement and deployment issues but does not touch on the people involved below strategic management overview, and who are also the ones who have to work with the software and company methodology.
I would have thought that by now, any discussion on this subject would necessarily cast a glance (at least) to this area and not push this to one side or ignore it completely as this article does.
Basically, its a posturing glance at what has become a well worn story line without adding much to insight or practice other than the firm uses multiple platforms for a wide variety of design and implementation as opposed to a single software package.
hmmmm.
