Surface Pattern display

I have a block wall with a surface pattern that doesn't display correctly in elevation - it's a curve in plan, but should still show something in elevation, no?

I have seen this on roofs if it is a true curve. I had a blend do the same thing. Once it is curved it seems to not be able to show the pattern. Very frustrating.

Definitely frustrating... I'm going to have to draft this elevation like i'm using AutoCad or something! I'd expect it on a complex curve or blend.. but this is just a plan curve..

first do a test print, make sure it really doesn't print. If it doesn't, then just use detail lines and the pick tool, and you will be able to pick the hatch lines.
