You're hurting my feelings. Civil engineering is kind of a big field to be grouped in with the "other" catagory.

Hi Edward

Please note I have *moved* this thread from the AutoCAD General (http://forums.augi.com/forumdisplay.php?f=120) forum to this one as I feel this particular Forum is a more appropriate place for such a topic.

Thanks, Mike

I'm a residential designer for a home plans publishing company.

So the field is residential architecture but the industry is actually publishing!

.....I work in a shipyard that undertake a contract for the Navy. But my primary Auto-CAD job is to manage an auto-Cad file that I mostly created base on the old conventional plan drawn sometime in early 1930s and save as .dwg file for current and future easy access reference. (Combination of Architectural, Mechanical and Structural).

Good luck to all... Mabuhay!

LOL....my company is kind of stuck in no man's land. We do manufacturing but we also generate drawings for contractors to assemble our equipment for their building needs. If I had to pick I would say we are in Manufacturing

We make up the third largest group in this survey and Autodesk does not have a clue what to do about us. My industry session at AU was cancelled.

I am in Process and Power and feeling fairly ignored. Maybe I can find a main valve to turn off so folks will remember how life was without cars and heat.

MEP

If you're still doing MEP after 10 years, you're either successful or the mistakes never caught up with you!
