Hi Reviteers

I have about 5 Perspective view on a sheet and when I print it,it prints some of them with thick lines and some with thin line.(Not every time in print)

Any idea why??

Did you have a view activated? make sure all views are deactivated when printing.

Hey there,

It may have to do with the view's scale. Maybe?

...also check to see if advanced model graphics are turned on for any of the views.

Aaron is also referring to a little bitty checkbox called "Override Silhouettes" - make sure this is UNchecked. It can cause Havoc to your lineweights.

I am not entirely sure how this works but we have had similar problems when generating AVI's and views from camera positions.

In perspective views, the line thickness seems to depend on the camera position relative to the model.

If you view the model from a closer position the lines appear thinner

If you view it from a greater distance then the line widths start to become more dominant.

If you go to the line weight settings you will find the perspective line weight can be controlled however, for some reason this can not be set any less than 0.075 (I think)

Set it as low as possible and see if this creates a suitable image.

Thanks for all the help

It is a combination of the camera position and perspective line weights

Mark, I like your Avitar. I assume it implies that "Revit Rocks"?
