When I import from Autocad into a detail view, I get a huge box with my
imported info tiny and in the upper right hand corner. I can not seem
to downsize this window for the life of me. What am I not doing correctly either in Autocad or Revit to make this work?? Help

I have read numerous posts but did not see anyone that has dealt with
this one.

I am a self taught Autocad and Revit user (only four CD's under my belt) I am really trying more and more to strictly use Revit versus Autocad however, I am need some legacy stuff in Autocad and need
to get CD's out now.

If yo do a zoom extent in Acad, are you getting pretty much the same "box" has in Revit ?
Check for closed or thaw layers in Acad

That means there is probably a small object somewhere in your acad file. Try to hunt it down and delete it. That should fix your view extent in Revit. You can also send me the file dhurtubise@lemaymichaud."nospam".com

Daniel,

You were right on the money. I had some small object
in the corner and basically it messed me up.

However in solving that problem I discovered another.

The ACAD model space schedule is 8 1/2" tall. When
I import it with my new blank drafting view set to
1/4"=1'-0" the schedule in the Revit drafting view is the
same height as it was in model space, 8 1/2".

However, when I place it on a Revit sheet its only
1/8" tall on the Sheet. What am I doing wrong?
