Position and scale varying after xref placing

Hi,

I have projected dwg some layer wise. After that when I xrefed the dwgs are not placing the same position. Even though the resulting scale of dwg is also different than original. I think insunits or some settings required. Pls help me to solve the problem. I am very thankful to u.

Check to make sure that both or all drawings are using the same units. Then check to see if they all are xreffed at 0,0,0 for the insertion point and scale of 1 for scale factor. If oyu are working with a file that was created using Architectural units ad trying to reference it into a file using Decimal feet, you would need to use a scale factor of 1/12 or 12 depending on which way you are going. You may also need to move the insertion point for the drawings as well when you apply the scale factors.
