Stairs without nosings?

How do I create a monolithic stair that looks like just plain concrete steps? I want just a slanted riser, with no nosing profiles (in reality there would be a metal tread nosing cast into the leading edge of the tread with a pattern to help prevent slipping). It seems like I can't specify "none" under the tread nosing profile parameter. How do I make this work?

Try creating an empty profile, worst case create a really small one.

Okay that works, but I guess there's no way to make the stair end with a riser at the top in that configuration. So I have to add another tread at the top, equal to the floor level, which leaves me with lines where the top tread and floor overlap. Sure wish we could jon geometry between stairs and floor slabs.
