I can't get the Express Tools to install. My company just bought network versions of 2006 and I just did the install (migrated for 2005 stand alone). I was surprised on how well it carried over all my setting but it didn't carry over the Express Tools. I looked in the help and it explains that you select weather you want it during the install wizard. I didn't get that option during the network install. To make matters worse for me, a co-worker did the same network install and it gave him the Express Tools without even asking him during the install - What's up with that!!!!
Then I tried removing 2006 and doing the network install again and still no luck.
I hope there is some kind of easy fix for this!
Thanks

Todd:
Type EXPRESSMENU at the 2006 command prompt (or dynamic input), that should load the Express Tools.

And you ask yourself "Why does AutoCad still make us have to mess around with the express tools? Include them already!"

I know!!! I was thinking it might happen in 2006, now I'm thinking maybe 2007.
I'm sure it has to be some legal reasons.

I'm sure it has to be some legal reasons.I just hear, 'they're included for your convenience for free, we don't actually support them, CYA procedures, etc'. ;)
but, I think every year, a handful of them get worked into base autocad, but, at this rate it will be awhile before they're 100% included within the normal install.
At least on '06 you get the big obvious checkmark thing.

Yes. You check to have Express Tools installed and they do get installed - great.
But - in my experience, in about one case in four they don't show up automatically - you have to do the "expressmenu" thing. Come on guys, you can do better than that.
