Mystery Geometry can't be deleted from family

This is a bug and a case of "Doctor, my elbow hurts when I touch it. "Well don't touch it then.""

I was working at home with out my library and created this swimming pool family. I didn't have my materials and I needed water to put in the pool. I went into a project that had water, made an in-place family of a block of water and cut and pasted it into the family and canceled the insert. That worked great! I now had water in the family, made an extrusion. Done right? WRONG. I saved and closd and inserted the family into a project and there was a random "piece of water" floating off to the side (the one I created). I go into the family and can't find it to delete it.

How can I solve this without rebuilding the entire family?

Go to your Rfa > Select the volume representing the water. Make a copy > place it a bit further. "It" will show up. > Delete.
