Structural columns not displaying based on phase

I am having a problem getting some structural columns display according to phase. I have both existing and new columns on a sheet and all of them show up dark. All of the other existing components, walls, etc, show up lighter but the existing columns do not.

Well, we figured it out, after 2 days and posting the question here. I was wrong, the walls were showing up dark along with the columns. We just had the phase of the view set incorrectly. Thanks for taking the time to look.
