Take a look at this wall pattern. Same material painted on same generic 6" walls, yet on one wall the pattern is correct and incorrect on the other.
Thanks.

I mentioned this in one of the classes at AU last year. The pattern you've labeled as incorrect is the default condition. Some of the folks knew about it, some said it can always be rotated to the correct orientation, and I gather that most in the seminar didn't care. But I've always wondered why the Revit carpenters installed those shingles upside down.

There's lots of threads in here about this issue... Problem is that the hatch is upside down. You can use hatchkit and/or AutoCAD and/or Notepad to edit the hatch and rotate it. I'll try to remember to upload my corrected shingle pattern tomorrow, not in the office right now.

You can download a demo copy or buy HatchKit from Cadro at www.cadro.com.au/hatchkit

If the default direction is "upside down" then why does the pattern appear "right-side up" on one of my walls?
