scope boxes and crop regions

Can I not adjust a crop region the way I want it if the view is set to a particular scope box? It looks like the crop region automatically becomes the size of the scope box in plan and section views, and it cannot be moved or re-sized. This is highly annoying. It doesn't appear to do it in elevation views, though. Quite odd.

That's correct. A scope box automatically controls the extent of a view's crop region when set in a view. This should also happen in an elevation view if the scope box is set for that view.
