Hello once again Ladies and Gentlemen

I have a piece of curtain wall which is embedded within another wall.

The curtain wall mullions are 150 x 50mm and the wall it is embedded into is 400mm wide.

The curtain wall is currently sitting in the middle of the 400mm wall, however, I want to make the curtain wall sit flush with one side of the 400mm wall.

Everytime I select the green centre line of the curtain wall and move it in plan the 400mm wall moves with it.

How can I move just the curtain wall and leave the 400mm wall where it is.

This is driving me mad - Friday afternoon - aaaahhhhgggg.

Calm Thought - best wishes - Dave

Dave,

Have you tried both detaching the curtain wall from any adjacent walls and also removing any sketches present on the wall - this will probably solve your problem, although you may need to resketch the wall shape after it's move (If the curtain wall is not rectangular).

Cheers

Andy.

When you select the curtain wall to move it, check the unjoin box on the top menu bar. Attached 1

Or, if you have a lot of similar situations, you can leave the green reference line centered in the wall and instead adjust the offset properties of the wall panels and mullions. Attached 2
