Automatic Gutters for the people.

With a hip roof, I can select the entire roof perimeter by tabbing, than place a fascia around the full perimeter, using my favorite, Host Sweep-Fascia.

Why can't I do the same thing with the Host Sweep - Gutter ?

I'm not having any problems here.

I have come across only a very few times where I can't get a fascia or gutter on an edge where one should work. I deleted the entire roof and started again, and found it worked.

OK, but can you select the entire perimeter of the roof and sweep a gutter the way you can for a fascia ?

You may not be tabbing in far enough to get the roof. Tab a couple more times and you'll get the entire roof perimeter (like you did for the fascia).

Actually I was tabbing on the fascia, thinking .... thats where I want my gutters to go.... should have been tabbing on the roof. :banghead:
