View Full Version : Can't make wall bearing

I'm working on a roof framing plan.

To make the walls visible on the framing plan I set the structural parameter to bearing.

One wall, a stacked wall, didn't have this structural parameter.

When I placed the beam framing into that wall, I got a message saying that the wall is not bearing. I clicked on "make it bearing".

The beam was placed successfully, but the wall still doesn't show up on the framing plan.

The wall type that forms the top of the stacked wall does have the structural parameter, but it is greyed out.

How can I make this stacked wall visible?

Thanks.

Mike

Use tab to select sub-wall of stack wall and make it 'bearing'. Stack wall might contain several sub-walls, some bearing, some not.

Lev,

Thank you very much for your reply.

I used tab to select the subwall as you suggest.

It was already designated as bearing.

The problem turned out to be a view range / cut plane issue.
